SUNY University at Buffalo: Scene Shop Supervisor

Rick Haug is the current Scene Shop Supervisor at the University at Buffalo.  Before joining the Department of Theatre and Dance at UB, Rick worked in the same position at SUNY Fredonia. He also served as the Technical Director at Niagara County Community College.  After graduating from SUNY Fredonia with at B.F.A. in Theatrical Production and Design, Rick toured the US, Canada, Malaysia, and China with Shrek the Musical, The Wizard of Oz, Spring Awakening, and The Gazillion Bubbles Show. Rick in also Production Manager for Torn Space Theater, a contemporary theatre company located in Buffalo NY. Some other favorite credits include Three Musketeers and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nigh-Time (Technical Director-Shea’s 710 Theatre) Drowsy Chaperone (Technical Director- The Gateway Playhouse) The Nutcracker Ballet (Asst. TD- Neglia Ballet Artists of WNY). Rick is also a proud union member of IATSE local 10 in Buffalo and the United University Professionals.
